Why is the Ikpeazu’s camp resorting to blåckmãil against Azuka’s widow with the tired line, “The House of Assembly is not their family inheritance”?

One can’t help but wonder, do the Ikpeazus believe they have politically conquered Onitsha?

For perspective:

• Linda Ikpeazu occupied a House of Representatives seat for over 16 uninterrupted years, unchallenged.

• Nkemdiche Ikpeazu spent 8 years in the State House and now holds a commissioner position for special duties.

• Mimi, currently contesting for the House of Assembly under APGA, served Linda for 8 years as a legislative aide.

How long exactly will the Ikpeazu dynasty continue to monopolize Onitsha’s political leadership?

Equity and fairness demand that other competent leaders be given a chance.

Onitsha is not the political inheritance of any single family.

It’s time for the Ikpeazus to gracefully step aside and allow another capable hand to serve after all, they’ve had more than their fair share or atleast allow the electorates to decide.

Ifea nwezikwa ka odi Biko nu .
