The All Progressives Congress (APC) gubernatorial candidate for Anambra State’s 2025 election, Nicolas Ukachukwu, has questioned the electoral viability of Young Progressives Party (YPP) candidate Paul Chukwuma who recently left the APC after the primaries, citing his previous poor performance at the polls.
In an AIT interview, Ukachukwu highlighted Chukwuma’s track record, stating,

He was director-general of the campaign organization for Andy Uba in the last governorship election in Anambra State; he did not win his polling unit.”
Dismissing Chukwuma’s ability to attract political support following his departure from APC after losing the primaries, Ukachukwu declared, “Who can join him? Go and sink with him. Nobody in Anambra State today can join him
