POLICE ASSISTANT COMMITTEE (PAC) MAKES COURTESY VISIT TO IMO STATE POLICE COMMAND
On Monday, 8th September, the Police Assistant Committee (PAC) paid a courtesy visit to the office of the Imo State Commissioner of Police, CP Danjuma Aboki. The team, led by Eze Nnanna, State Commandant of PAC, outlined the group’s objectives, emphasizing their commitment to fighting crime under secrecy.
During the meeting, PAC requested the Commissioner’s support in three key areas:
Appointment of a Liaison Officer: To facilitate seamless communication and collaboration.
Training for Members: To enhance their skills and effectiveness in crime prevention.
Inauguration of Members: To formalize their roles and responsibilities.
CP Danjuma Aboki warmly welcomed the PAC members and assured them of the Command’s support. He Appointed DSP Henry Okoye (PPRO) as Coordinator: To work closely with PAC and facilitate their requests.
To equip PAC members with the necessary skills to effectively contribute to crime prevention efforts.
The meeting underscored the Command’s commitment to community policing and collaboration with stakeholders to ensure a safer Imo State.
Furthermore, the PAC team visited the Tiger Base Department, where they met with the second-in-command, SP Phillip Opara. The officer warmly received them and pledged the department’s support for PAC’s initiatives, promising to assist the group in any capacity.
These visits demonstrate PAC’s proactive approach to building partnerships with key law enforcement agencies in Imo State, underscoring their shared commitment to enhancing security and fighting crime.
