Sen. Anyanwu Receives Acting National Chairman of PDP Hon. Abdulrahman Mohammed

In a remarkable show of unity and renewed commitment to the ideals of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Senator Samuel Nnaemeka Anyanwu, the party’s National Secretary, on Monday received the Acting National Chairman of the PDP in Abuja.

The meeting, held at the party’s National Secretariat, attracted top members of the National Working Committee (NWC), stakeholders, and party loyalists from across the country, who described the development as a positive step towards repositioning the PDP ahead of future political engagements.

Senator Anyanwu, fondly called SamDaddy, in his remarks, welcomed the Acting National Chairman and commended his leadership disposition, noting that the visit symbolizes a new dawn of understanding, reconciliation, and progress within the party.

He emphasized that the PDP remains the only true national party with the structure, experience, and vision to rescue Nigeria from the current challenges confronting it. According to him, the time has come for all faithful members to close ranks and rebuild the party on the foundation of peace, justice, and collective progress.

The Acting National Chairman, in his response, lauded Senator Anyanwu for his steadfastness, maturity, and commitment to the PDP family, describing him as a “pillar of stability” at a time when the party needs experienced leadership and institutional knowledge.

He further assured party members that the leadership of the PDP will continue to work tirelessly to ensure internal reconciliation, strengthen its grassroots structures, and position the party for victory in the coming electoral cycles.

Political observers have described the meeting as a significant signal of renewed cooperation between the key leaders of the PDP, suggesting that it may pave the way for broader consultations aimed at uniting all factions within the party.
