The senator representing Ebonyi-north senetorial zone, Stated that the sight of old houses around Abuja airport while landing at the airport presents a poor image of the country, hence the people living around there should be relocated or the place renewed .
The senate president objected his proposal, stating that the place is someone’s village and there is no way the people of that village can be evacuated because the minister wants to make Abuja airport environs beautiful .
The senate president futher stated that the houses in that area are what the people living in that area can afford and there’s no need relocating them.
