UBA drops important announcement that will affect millions of customers
United Bank for Africa (UBA) has announced a scheduled system maintenance aimed at enhancing the speed and efficiency of transactions across its digital platforms.
In a notice to customers on Friday, the bank disclosed that the maintenance exercise would run from 10:00 pm on Saturday, September 13, 2025, to 11:00 am on Sunday, September 14, 2025.
During this period, UBA’s digital banking channels will be temporarily unavailable, affecting services such as mobile banking, internet banking, and USSD transactions.
The bank assured customers that the exercise is part of its ongoing commitment to improving service delivery and maintaining a seamless banking experience.
“While our digital channels will be unavailable within this window, we are working to ensure the maintenance is completed within the stipulated timeframe, so customers can resume transactions promptly,” UBA stated.
The financial institution apologised for any inconvenience the temporary disruption may cause and expressed appreciation for customers’ patience and understanding.
