A total of 379,997 candidates in the five states of the South East geographical zone and Lagos were affected by the glitches in the 2025 Unified Tertiary and Matriculation Examination.

JAMB Registrer, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, disclosed this in an ongoing press briefing in Abuja on Wednesday.

“206,610 in 65 centres were affected in Lagos and 92 centres in Owerri zone comprising of 173,387 candidates in the five states of the South East were affected,” he said.

The Senate of Nnamdi Azikiwe University,Awka has appointed Professor Nnoyelu, Professor Arinze-umobi and Professor Sam-Omenyi as candidates for the role of a new acting vice chancellor.

One of the professors nominated (Prof Arinze-umobi)had been an Acting Vice Chancellor before the incumbent vice chancellor whose tenure would end by 19th May, came onboard.

Begining form tomorrow 16th of May, COOU which is formal know as Anambra state university (ANSU) will commerce a line of event to celebrate their 25th year anniversary and convoction ceremony, the event is scheduled to hold from 16th of May – 24th May 2025.

A special Alumni Dinner/Award night will take place on Wednesday 21st May 2025 @ Don Ritz hotel AWKA by 6pm.
