VeyDarkMan will be released if he meets his bail conditions. – EFCC spokesman, Dele Oyewale.
Speaking to BBC News Pidgin on Monday, EFCC spokesperson Dele Oyewale said, “We will release him if he meets his bail conditions, and we will take the case to court as soon as possible.”
Oyewale explained that VDM’s arrest was as a result of multiple petitions submitted by various individuals, alleging m!sconduct. In his words, “We arrested him to respond to a series of @llegations raised against him by some petitioners.”
When asked if GTBank was among the petitioners, Oyewale refused to name specific entities, saying the commission has a duty to protect petitioners’ identities.
