The incident allegedly occurred when Osimhen was leaving an entertainment venue with friends and was approached by a group of reporters, including Bozduman, who attempted to photograph him.

According to Bozduman’s account, Osimhen became aggressive, screaming and trying to take his camera away. Bozduman claimed that Osimhen punched him in the head, which still hurt afterwards. Osimhen denied hitting anyone, saying: “I didn’t hit anyone. I’m disappointed that the journalist has chosen to distort the truth and make false accusations.”
