By accepting Ghanaian citizenship, Wonder not only honors the nation’s history and values but also aligns himself with the goals of unity and cultural exchange championed during the Year of Return.

Wonder’s decision to make Ghana his home resonates with a tradition of diasporans who have contributed significantly to the nation’s fabric.

The president cited notable figures like George Padmore, Rita Marley, Maya Angelou, and W.E.B. du Bois as predecessors who found solace and purpose in Ghana.

Legendary highlife musician, Bright Chime zie AKA Ziggima has posted a video of him vibing to Davido’s latest and trending song “with you” which he featured Oma lay. According to davido, he got the inspiration and beat from one of Bright Chimezie’s old songs “because of English”

Today, Ziggima did a video, appreciating davido and Cubana Chief Priest for doing a song with his beat and rhythm and making him an inspiration.

If it were to be some people, David would have received a Court letter from their lawyer, rather than this appreciation.

Tunde Ednut becomes U.S. citizen bags presidential lifetime achievement award

Popular blogger and entertainer Tunde Ednut has officially become a citizen of the United States. But that’s not all — he also received the President’s Lifetime Achievement Award, an honor signed by former U.S. President Joe Biden.

 

 

Tunde made the announcement on Instagram, sharing a photo of his American passport alongside the award plaque. In his caption, he wrote:

 

 

Congratulations to me!!! Not just a Citizen Oo! I also got recognition from the President of America. I am highly honored and blessed.”

The award is given to individuals who have dedicated over 4,000 hours of volunteer service to their communities.

Reactions poured in from fellow celebrities. Tiwa Savage joked in the comments, “This one that you are now handsome like this in these pictures… na AI.” Others like Davido, Cubana Chief Priest, and Destiny Etiko also sent their congratulations.

 

 

This isn’t Tunde’s first major recognition. Back in January 2025, he received a Certificate of Recognition from Prince George’s County, Maryland, for his impact in the African diaspora community.
