His estranged wife May’s legal team, headed by Emeka Ugwuonye of Due Process Advocates on Sunday, in a statement & video address, revealed that Yul, made this claim in his court filing

It is reported that May filed for a divorce against her husband in August 2023 with details of the court proceedings having been kept hush.

Mr Ugwuonye said the ongoing case slated for a hearing on 5 March, faced an unexpected setback as the court session did not proceed, a circumstance Yul & Judy claimed credit for.

Detailing the case, May’s lawyer highlighted what he considered to be the defence strategy employed by Yul & Judy.

He said they denied being married & insisted that their relationship lacked any legal statutory recognition, claiming to be skitmakers.

Popular Nigerian music video director, TG Omori has shared some insights into his journey as a cinematographer.

He revealed that he only started making profits from shooting music videos in 2023 despite being one of the most sought-after directors in the country years before then.

He further revealed that he was in a bad production debt for five years and was only able to pay it off through money he made from his brand.

The music video director disclosed this during an interactive session with fans on X on Tuesday.

A fan asked, “How do you know how much the entire production would cost and still properly infuse your own profit so as not to undercharge or overcharge?”

He replied, “I only started making profits in 2023. Every time I’m losing money from pick up shoots or something! Budget is never enough, in fact I was in bad production debt for 5years. Just had to live with it, I was paying up and taking more to cover up. I was only able to pay it off through money my brand and personality was fetching me. It’s a though life for creatives. Hug a creative beside you today.”

Ekwutosblog recalls that in 2023, Davido revealed in an interview with Beats FM Lagos that he paid TG Omori a whooping N100 million to shoot the video of his hit song, ‘Jowo.’

Omori later confirmed the payment in a social media post.
